RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, NC – The Burroughs Wellcome Fund is pleased to announce a second round of seed grant funding in Climate Change and Human Health.
The grant aims to stimulate the growth of new connections between scholars working in largely disconnected fields who could together change the course of climate change’s impact on human health. Over the next two years, BWF will dedicate $1M to supporting small, early-stage grants of $2,500 – $50,000 toward achieving this goal.
“We were thrilled to receive a wide spectrum of applications spanning a range of approaches to tackle the intersection of climate change and human health,” said BWF President and CEO, Dr. Louis J. Muglia. “Our focus is on solutions – from local to global, from strategies that have immediate impact to those the foster the imagination of future investigators. We encourage actionable ideas that push current boundaries.”
Proposals will be accepted on a rolling basis through August 30, 2023.
