Mr. Murphy is a science writer, speaker, and entrepreneur based in Durham, North Carolina. He read Genetics and Immunology at the University of Aberdeen, Scotland, and earned a Masters in Science Communication at Imperial College, London. Prior to moving to the USA, he wrote news and feature articles for the journal Nature, and managed training and operations at the National Museum of Science and Industry (UK). He is also the author of more than 20 popular science titles, published in more than 15 languages worldwide.
