RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, NC – The Burroughs Wellcome Fund is pleased to announce the recipients of the latest round of the Innovation in Regulatory Science Award.
BWF’s Innovation in Regulatory Science Awards provides up to $500,000 over five years to academic investigators developing new methodologies or innovative approaches in regulatory science that will ultimately inform the regulatory decisions by Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and others.
“Each project focuses on a distinct challenge facing the regulatory science community, and each has the potential to change the way regulatory agencies assess a variety of issues,“ said Dr. Kelly Rose, BWF program officer. “Regulatory science is an important yet underfunded area that could lead to revolutionary changes in the development and testing of new products in the drug, medical device, and food safety arenas.”
