Research Triangle Park, NC, June 18, 2024 — The Burroughs Wellcome Fund (BWF) is pleased to announce the 2024 Career Awards for Medical Scientists (CAMS) recipients. This prestigious program supports outstanding physician-scientists at the early stages of their careers, enabling them to bridge advanced postdoctoral or fellowship training and the early years of faculty service.
This year, the BWF CAMS program will award awards to 13 researchers, each receiving a five-year grant totaling $700,000. The funds will support their research efforts and career development in the biomedical sciences, encouraging innovation and fostering future leaders in the field.
