RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C. – The Burroughs Wellcome Fund (BWF) is delighted to announce the recipients of the 2023 Career Awards at the Scientific Interface (CASI). These awards recognize outstanding scientists who have made significant contributions at the interface of biology and quantitative sciences, bridging the gap between disciplines, and fostering innovation.
Selected from a highly competitive pool of applicants, the 2023 CASI recipients represent a diverse group of exceptional researchers whose work exemplifies the collaborative spirit necessary for breakthrough discoveries. Each awardee will receive a five-year grant to support their groundbreaking research endeavors, totaling $500,000.
